Ogilvie Public Schools

As a para in the field of education, Ogilvie has welcomed me as I moved here from 8 years of being a reading interventionist at my previous school of employment. I have a degree in Title One and have enjoyed working with students in grades 6-8. Seeing students grow from "I don't know," or giving up without trying to "let me try it myself first" has been the most rewarding part of working with students. 

This will be my third year as a Para at Ogilvie. I have worked with both elementary and high school students. I love math. It has always been my favorite subject. I am excited to be working with all of the students this year to help them build their reading and math skills. 

I have been employed as a para-educator at Ogilvie Schools for 26 years.  I began in Special Education working as a one-on-one with students.  I am now in my 9th year in Title working with students K-8 on Reading and Math.  I love working with the students and helping them to achieve their goals.  Witnessing their excitement when they are successful is truly a rewarding experience.

I have been teaching in Ogilvie for 23 years. I have taught Preschool, Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. This will be my third year as a reading and math interventionist for students in grade K-8. I have a degree in kindergarten through 6th grade. I also have a reading certificate for grades kindergarten through 12th. I love working with students of all ages and I look forward to working with you and your child in order to ensure their academic success!
